- ATFD Plant is a modernized apparatus used for continuous processing of concentrated materials into dry solids. It consists of a shell with a heating jacket and a rotor centrally placed inside the shell equipped with rows and pendulum blades of the length of the dryer.
- The wet feed is evenly distributed over the heated walls with the help of hinged blades of the rotor. The high turbulence evaporates the water/solvent only to convert the liquid into a slurry form, a cake, dry powder/ flex.
- The vapor rises upwards and collected as condensate in a condenser. The system operates under vacuum for temperature-sensitive products and at atmospheric temperature for natural drying.
